Adult Therapist

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling and North Dakota license as a LMSW or LAPC. A clinical license (North Dakota) as a LCSW or LPCC is preferred. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license, have access to personal transportation and be willing to travel to therapy sessions and meetings in rural areas. 

 

COMPENSATION: Salary range for LMSW or LAPC/LPC is $44,694-$74,490.  Clinical license (LCSW or LPCC) salary range is $50,606 - $84,344.  Benefits include a generous leave package including annual leave, sick leave and personal days; 11 paid holidays; health, dental, vision, and life insurance; 401k with employer match; and potential eligibility federal student loan repayment.

 

You will receive employer-funded training in evidence-based therapies such EMDR and clinical supervision from a certified LPCC supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Individual and Group Therapy

  • Provide evidence-based individual therapy services for adults who have experienced domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse, or stalking.
  • Follow-up with adults on CVIC’s therapy waitlist to arrange for therapy services.
  • Provide facilitation of therapy groups for adult survivors as appropriate and needed.
  • Obtain training in providing distance therapy and provide individual therapy to victims via telehealth when needed.

 

Individual Advocacy and Referrals

  • Provide crisis intervention and advocacy services on an as needed basis.
  • Become knowledgeable of other related agencies and services and provide victims and with appropriate referral information and support in accessing safety net services.
  • Collaborate with partner agencies to assist with referrals to our services, helping victims overcome barriers to receiving services.

 

Record Keeping

  • Maintain accurate, complete, and timely records of client demographics and all contacts with clients and other agencies according to established procedures.
  • Distribute and collect surveys from clients participating in individual and group therapy, according to established procedures.

 

Collaboration

  • Participate on agency and community committees as assigned.
  • Provide public education presentations regarding therapy services as needed.
